Fountain Point Solar Energy LLC was assigned a case number (21-1231-EL-BGN) December 28, 2021. At that time it opened the gateway for the public to submit comments in support and opposition to this project. Commissioners Antram and Benedetti sent letters of support dated November 30, 2021, which were the first comments posted on OPSB's website on January 3, 2022. Since that time, the residents of Logan County, specifically the residents who reside within the boundaries of the Fountain Point project have voiced their concerns and disappointment to both Commissioners Antram and Benedetti. We are happy to report that both commissioners have recognized that the community is not in favor of this project and have officially posted letters to rescind their original comments. Those letters were posted on OPSB's website on January 25, 2022.
